**Assist Cardiothoracic Surgeons During Procedures**
Support surgeons in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care by preparing patients, managing surgical instruments, assisting with anesthesia monitoring, and handling emergency interventions as needed.
- **Monitor and Manage Critical Cardiac Patients**
Continuously assess vital signs, hemodynamics, and other clinical parameters of adult cardiac ICU patients, recognize complications early, and assist in timely interventions to stabilize and improve patient outcomes.
- **Perform Clinical Procedures**
Carry out various invasive and non-invasive procedures such as arterial line insertion, central venous catheterization, intubation assistance, chest tube management, and wound care under the supervision or delegation of the attending physician or surgeon.
- **Coordinate Multidisciplinary Care**
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, anesthetists, perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cardiac surgery and ICU patients.
- **Maintain Documentation and Communication**
Accurately document patient history, clinical findings, surgical notes, medication administration, and progress reports. Communicate effectively with patients’ families and the healthcare team regarding patient status, treatment plans, and discharge planning
