The Assistant Registrar provides assistance to the Registrar in the creation and maintenance of permanent academic/administrative records; assures the integrity, security, condition, and access to these documents and the issuance of official documents. An effective Assistant Registrar should enjoy working with a diverse array of people, is enthusiastic about the mission of the university and education, and exhibits superior analytical skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with the multiple stakeholders of the university.

**Responsibilities**:

- Completing enrollment and records management work in accordance with established processes and best practices for the department, which may include course catalog and curriculum management preparation; space utilization and final exam oversight; testing and evaluation services and support; official transcript production; grade changes; or enrollment/degree verifications.
- Effectively engaging with the schools and departments related to academic records related information.
- Ensuring academic records are properly maintained for all current and former students.
- Reviewing, evaluates compliance issues/concerns to ensure compliance with university policies and state, national higher education regulatory bodies.
- Collecting, preparing and providing evidence of compliance as required by Committees for the purpose of Institutional Audit and Accreditation.
- Conducting benchmark analyses with peer institutions to stay abreast of best practices and policies.
- Performing any administrative duties as may be assigned by the reporting authority (Registrar).

**Requirements**:

- Any Bachelors or Master’s degree with 4-5 years of relevant experience in university.
- Must have knowledge of various regulations, affiliation and accreditation processes. (NAAC & UGC).
- Knowledge of policy developments at the university level.
- Strong communication skills, be able to manage a large workload with a tight deadline, and remain up-to-date with regulations..
- Excellent analytical and research skills, the ability to make good judgments, and be able to work well within a team.
- Self-starter, proactive, and have a problem-solving approach at work.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
