**Job Responsibility**:

- **Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code**: Node.js developers are responsible for writing code that is reusable, testable, and efficient. This includes developing modular code, adhering to coding standards and best practices, and using appropriate design patterns.**:

- **Documenting code and processes**:Node.js developers are responsible for documenting their code and processes to make it easier for other developers to understand and work with the codebase.**:
**KPAs (Key Performance Areas)**:

- **Code quality**: Node.js developers must write reusable, testable, and efficient code. This involves developing modular code, adhering to coding standards and best practices, and using appropriate design patterns.
- **Research and Development**: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in Node.js game development to continuously improve the game’s performance and user experience.

**KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)**:

- **Code quality**:Measure the quality of code written by the developer, including the use of coding standards, best practices, and design patterns. This could be measured by the number of code reviews passed, the number of bugs found in the code, or the complexity of the code.
- **Documentation**: Measure the quality and completeness of documentation produced by the developer, including the accuracy and clarity of the documentation. This could be measured by the number of documentation errors found during code reviews or the number of documentation updates made based on user feed.
- **Research and Development**: Percentage of time spent on researching and learning new techniques, tools, or trends in Node.js game development. Number of new ideas or features proposed based on research.

**Required Skills & Qualification**:
**Mandatory skills required**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Knowledge of OOPs in Javascript, C & C++
- Sound knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Jquery.
- Experience with Node.js and frameworks available for it (eg: Express, Socket.io) to build RESTful APIs.
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Individual needs to have a good understanding of English speaking and writing.
- Basic understanding of User Authentication.
- Ability to write maintainable, pluggable, modular, clean code with a detailed understanding of business logic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and Workaround.
- Knowledge of version control (Git).

**Optional skills required**:

- Should have knowledge of commonly used AWS services like S3 Bucket, SES, EC2, AWS Lambda.
- Experience or knowledge in common third-party APIs(Google, Facebook, Stripe).
