**Overview**:As a Legal Advisor within our media company, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support across various aspects of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the media and entertainment industry. You'll be expected to offer counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, content licensing, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Contract Review and Drafting**: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to content creation, distribution, licensing, talent agreements, partnerships, sponsorships, and vendor agreements. Ensure contracts align with company policies and legal standards.
- **Intellectual Property Protection**: Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark, and patent issues. Oversee the company's intellectual property portfolio and assist in protecting proprietary rights.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Affairs**: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in media laws, advertising regulations, and data protection laws. Develop and implement compliance programs.
- **Risk Assessment and Mitigation**: Identify legal risks in business strategies and operations. Provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance.
- **Litigation Management**: Collaborate with external counsel on legal disputes, litigation matters, and other legal proceedings involving the company. Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes effectively.
- **Policy Development**: Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- **Training and Education**: Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on legal issues, compliance matters, and company policies to ensure a thorough understanding within the organization.
- **Collaboration and Advisory Role**: Collaborate closely with various departments including content creation, marketing, finance, and human resources to provide timely and accurate legal advice and support.

**Qualifications**:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience (4 years) working as legal counsel or advisor within the media, entertainment, or related industries.
- Sound knowledge of media laws, intellectual property rights, contract law, and regulatory compliance within the media sector.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹15,304.86 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
