UX Designer, Cloud Compute

**Minimum qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in product design or UX. - Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). **Preferred qualifications**: - Experience designing and shipping software design experiences for multiple device types and contexts. - Experience working with design tools.- Excellent core interaction design skills, with knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills. **About the job**: At Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." The Compute Engine UX team focuses on enabling people and organizations worldwide to set up, configure, and monitor virtual machines (VMs) running in Google's innovative data centers and fiber network. **Responsibilities**: - Gain an understanding of Cloud technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition. - Work with User Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers and others to create a user experience for specific enterprise and customer use cases to help drive impact across multiple compute engine focus areas. - Influence design direction and create storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to guide design and development. - Iterate on designs based on user feedback, peer feedback, tech constraints, market dynamics. - Plan and facilitate stakeholder engagements to communicate design ideas, gather feedback, and manage stakeholder expectations.
