Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular inspection, cleaning, and refurbishment of Hot Top casting moulds.
- Identify wear and defects in moulds and execute timely repairs to prevent casting defects.
- Ensure proper alignment and assembly of moulds before each casting cycle.
- Monitor mould performance during operations and provide technical feedback for improvements.
- Coordinate with casting operators and maintenance teams to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Maintain mould maintenance records, tool inventory, and spare parts usage logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist in mould changeovers and start-up procedures during casting shifts.
- Troubleshoot mould-related issues during production and suggest long-term fixes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for mould life and casting quality.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aluminium billet casting, specifically with Hot Top moulds.
- Strong understanding of mould design, materials, and casting processes.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools, lathes, grinders, and welding equipment for mould repair.
- Basic understanding of thermal expansion, cooling systems, and metal flow behaviour.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and work in hot environments.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, or as per production demand.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or relevant technical field.
- Experience with extrusion or foundry operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean maintenance and 5S principles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
