The Data Protection Group drives the product strategy, roadmap, and engineering delivery of the Veritas products, which includes NetBackup, APTARE, Backup Exec, Enterprise Vault (EV), EV.cloud, eDiscovery platform, and Veritas SaaS Backup.
SQA Engineer (Grade B) - Manual / Automation - Data Science/AI/ML
- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering preferred with major as Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution
- 3+ years of software testing experience required, preferably in product based companies.
- Ability to independently understand and test cloud-based solutions or features with due consideration to aspects functionality, performance, scalability and security.
- Ability to craft and deliver comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases for features and solution is paramount followed by manual test execution and automation.
- Good understanding & testing experience of Data Science/Machine Learning models
- Must have good knowledge of API testing (SOAP / REST) with tools like Postman.
- Proficiency in Jenkins processes and agile methodologies is added advantage.
- Experience and/or familiarity with Public Cloud (AWS), Microservices, Docker, Storage and Kubernetes/Containers
- Strong knowledge of testing Text Search, MongoDB, SQL and NoSQL Databases.
- Proven understanding of both Linux and Windows required.
- Demonstrate good troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter etc. also a plus
