**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team in a contractual basis. You will design and implement enterprise data architecture leveraging Microsoft Fabric. You will define the data lifecycle, ensure lineage and governance with Microsoft Purview, and enable advanced analytics and AI-readiness across the organization. You will work closely with the Head of IT and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to translate business needs into a robust data strategy

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics).
- Design and help to maintain semantic models to support business KPIs and self-service analytics.
- Help to define and enforce data governance policies, including security, privacy, and compliance, leveraging Microsoft Purview.
- Establish data lineage and metadata management for transparency and auditability.
- Develop data lifecycle strategies (ingestion, transformation, storage, archival, and deletion).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models and architecture blueprints.
- Support the optimization of data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Support the Implementation of CI/CD practices for Fabric workloads and automate deployment workflows.
- Provide technical leadership to data engineers and analysts on Fabric/platform best practices.
- Ensure API readiness for semantic models to support Copilot and external integrations

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years in data architecture or engineering roles, with 1+ years in Microsoft Fabric or equivalent platforms.
- Strong knowledge of lakehouse architecture, medallion design, and semantic modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
- Expertise in data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and scripting languages (PySpark preferred).
- Familiarity with data lineage tools and metadata management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Fabric deployment automation.
- Excellent communication skills in English for cross-functional collaboration.

**Preferred but Not Required**:

- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
