**Job Title**: Hospital Accounts Executive/Cashier

**Location**: Greater Kailash 1, New Delhi

**Department**: Accounts and Finance

**Reporting to**: Accounts Manager/Head of Finance

**Job Overview**:
The Hospital Accounts Executive/Cashier is responsible for managing the hospital’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, and handling cash and non-cash payments. The role also requires proficiency in using HMS (Akhil) software for managing hospital-related accounting tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cash and Billing Management**:

- Handle day-to-day cash transactions including receipts, payments, and deposits.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the hospital management system (HMS - Akhil).
- Verify and process insurance claims and payments.
- **Accounts and Reconciliation**:

- Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows and perform daily reconciliation of cash and bank accounts.
- Prepare and update accounts reports, including revenue, expenditure, and balance sheets.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial records in compliance with hospital policies.
- **Software Usage**:

- Efficiently use HMS (Akhil) software for managing patient billing, accounting records, and generating reports.
- Maintain and update patient accounts and billing data in the system.
- **General Accounting Tasks**:

- Assist in preparing financial statements and budget reports.
- Support the Accounts Manager in audit preparations and other financial reviews.
- Assist in the calculation of taxes, deductions, and contributions as per statutory requirements.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Handle queries related to bills, payments, and refunds from patients and their families.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to patients and internal departments related to financial matters.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in **HMS (Akhil)** or any other hospital management software.
- Experience in handling cash, bank reconciliation, and financial documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing accounts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
- Knowledge of hospital/healthcare industry financial practices is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3years of experience in hospital accounts management.
- Experience with **HMS (Akhil)** or other similar hospital management systems is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
