**Job Description for Computer Science Teacher for Coimbatore**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
- Teach foundational computer science concepts such as programming, algorithms, data structures, and web development.
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students, including hands-on activities, projects, and collaborative work.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in computer science and incorporate relevant trends into the curriculum.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to computer science, such as coding clubs or competitions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or licensure appropriate for middle school education.
- 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and programming languages.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Familiarity with current educational standards and practices in computer science education.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing project-based learning experiences.
- Experience with integrating robotics, game design, or other interactive technologies into the curriculum.
- Certification in specialized computer science education programs (e.g., Code.org, Google for Education).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
