**Job Summary**:
The Health and Safety Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. This role involves risk assessment, safety audits, training, and reporting incidents to prevent occupational hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national health & safety regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and industry best practices.
- **Risk Assessment & Management**:
- Conduct regular risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- **Incident Management**:
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
- **Training & Awareness**:
- Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Promote awareness programs on safety procedures, emergency response, and PPE usage.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and compliance documents.
- Prepare regular safety performance reports for management review.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:
- Develop and maintain emergency response procedures.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency simulations periodically.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure safety policies are followed.
- Advise management on safety improvements and cost-effective risk mitigation strategies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Safety Management (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in industrial or corporate health & safety.
- Strong knowledge of statutory safety laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and training effectively.
**Competencies**:
- Proactive and safety-conscious mindset.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify risks.
- Ability to influence and train employees on safety practices.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
**Work Environment**:
- Industrial or manufacturing plant setting, with exposure to operational hazards.
- Occasional travel to other facilities for audits or inspections.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
