We are looking for an experienced MySQL developer who will be responsible for developing solutions, ensuring the performance, availability, and security of MySQL instances/databases. You will also be responsible for designing, developing and provisioning of database instances. You will also work in tandem with the other teams, preparing documentations and specifications as required.

**Responsibilities**

Designing schemas for data warehouses / data marts and oltp databases

Developing stored procedures/triggers as needed

Provisioning MySQL instances

Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases

Prepare documentations and specifications

Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.

Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

**Skills and Qualifications**

Strong proficiency in SQL and SQL Optimization.

Ability and interest to reasearch on new related technologies.

Experience in database management (Exposure on other databases like PostreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL would be an advantage)

Decent experience with databases on the cloud and cloud based deployments.

Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM, NDB

Experience with replication configuration in MySQL

Knowledge of best practices in MySQL

Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler

Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹240,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
