The job description for a Fabrication Fitter & Welder typically includes the following responsibilities:
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the required dimensions, tolerances, and welding procedures.

Fabrication: Use various tools and equipment, such as saws, grinders, shears, and drills, to cut, shape, and prepare metal components according to the specifications.

Fitting: Assemble and fit together fabricated parts to form complete structures, ensuring accurate alignment and proper dimensions. This may involve the use of hoists, cranes, and rigging equipment.

Welding: Utilize various welding techniques, such as arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG), and oxy-acetylene welding, to join metal parts together. They must operate welding equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality welds.

Weld Inspection: Inspect welded joints for defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, using visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like dye penetrant testing or ultrasonic testing. They may also perform post-weld heat treatment as required.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and follow industry standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with relevant codes and procedures.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment, ensuring its proper functioning. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including weld logs, inspection reports, and material traceability documents. This helps to ensure compliance with quality control standards and provides a reference for future repairs or modifications.

Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, such as engineers, fabricators, and supervisors, to coordinate tasks, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the timely completion of projects.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new welding techniques, technologies, and safety practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
