**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
- Is familiar with codes and standards for domestic and/or international and generally current on latest scientific and engineering methods.
- Possesses a technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process.
- Commercial awareness.
- Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
- Produces instrument database from P&I diagrams.
- Is able to perform calculations for control valves, safety relief valves and orifices.
- Is able to prepare instrument specifications / datasheets, especially for field instruments and do the related technical bid evaluations.
- Checks supplier drawings.
- Wiring & Loop Drawings
- Cable schedules & block diagrams
- Supervising vendor packages
- Effective management of change
- Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines
- Works according to company/project standards, procedures and specifications.

**Essential **Qualifications and Education**:

- Experience 3-10 years
- Education B.Tech / BE degree - Instrumentation or equivalent
