Position Overview
Job Title: French Language Interpreter
**Job Type**: Full-Time, Work from Home
**Salary**: Up to ₹12 Lakhs Per Annum (Based on Experience and Performance)
Work Schedule: 24/7 Rotational Shifts
5 Working Days
2 Rotational Offs
Start Date: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Role Description
As a French Language Interpreter, your primary responsibility will be to act as a linguistic bridge between English-speaking clients (primarily in the U.S. & Canada) and French-speaking individuals.
You will provide real-time interpretation services via voice and video calls, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in every interaction.
This role demands quick thinking, excellent listening skills, and the ability to maintain neutrality while facilitating conversations between parties in sectors such as customer service, healthcare, legal, finance, or technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately interpret spoken conversations between English and French speakers in real-time.
Maintain a high level of fluency, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality throughout the calls.
Handle audio and video interpretation through secure platforms.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and QA teams to maintain quality standards.Fluency in English - both spoken and written (mandatory)
French Language Proficiency:
B2 Certification - Mandatory
B1 Certification may be considered if supported by relevant professional experience
Must be comfortable with night shifts and rotational schedules
Must be able to handle real-time voice and video calls with professionalism
Stable internet connection and a quiet workspace are essential
Additional Notes for Applicants
If you are a French native speaker who is not an Indian citizen, you must possess an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card and be residing in India to be eligible for this role.
