**Job Summary**: The CNC Operator in the Furniture and Sofa Industry is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components used in the manufacturing of furniture and sofas. The operator must ensure the accurate and efficient execution of CNC programs, monitor machine performance, and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal production.

- **Machine Operation**:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce furniture and sofa components according to specifications.
- Load raw materials into the CNC machine and secure them in place.
- Interpret and understand CNC programs to ensure accurate production.
- **Programming and Troubleshooting**:
- Collaborate with programmers to understand CNC programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Identify and troubleshoot programming or machining issues to maintain continuous production.
- **Quality Control**:
- Monitor the quality of produced parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts and make adjustments as needed.
- **Tooling and Maintenance**:
- Select and install appropriate tooling for specific jobs.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
