**Purpose of Job**

**Teaching and Learning Responsibilities**
- Teach Basic English skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each

lesson.
- Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
- Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
- Instruct students about the structure and content of the English language.
- Teach students the spelling of words, and their meanings.
- Emphasize the rules of composition, grammar and sentence construction.
- Teach students the correct pronunciation of words.
- Teach students to think critically when studying literature and poetry.
- Teach students to analyze and question media reports, advertisements, and news reports.

**Responsibilities to the Department and School**
- Be respectful of the needs of colleagues and the department with regards to

cooperation, collegiality, deadlines and team cohesion
- Participate positively in departmental meetings, follow policies and generally

contributing to the effective and efficient running of the department
- Promote professional dialogue, share ideas about teaching and learning and support

other teachers in developing good practice and new approaches and initiatives

**Other Responsibilities**
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department, Head of

Faculty or members of the Senior Leadership Team and any duties that the Principal

deems necessary for the effective operation of the school
- Draft and frame the communication messages to parents and different stake holders

**Requirements**:
**Required Qualification and Experience**
- Master in English with B.ED.
- Minimum four years of Experience as a PGT English.
- Familiarity with the curriculum of CBSE
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
- A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- total work: 4 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
