**About the Team**
The Ninjacart technical team consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including programming, design, architecture, databases, DevOps, security, analytics & machine learning. We work to create the first and biggest agricultural ecosystem in the world.

**Responsibilities**:
**Advanced Machine Learning and AI**
- Spearhead research and implementation of novel AI techniques in NLP, computer vision, and generative models.
- Lead initiatives in fine-tuning and customizing large language models (LLMs) for agricultural domain-specific tasks, including:

- Designing and implementing advanced fine-tuning strategies for LLMs.
- Developing novel techniques for adapting LLMs to Ninjacart's unique use cases.
- Optimizing LLM performance for resource-constrained environments.

**Strategic Data Analytics & Advanced Feature Engineering**
- Lead complex data analysis projects to derive actionable insights for business strategy.
- Design and implement sophisticated feature engineering techniques to significantly enhance model performance.
- Develop predictive models and forecasting systems using advanced statistical methods.

**MLOps Leadership and Architecture Design**
- Design and implement enterprise-level MLOps architectures.
- Lead the adoption of best practices in model versioning, deployment, and monitoring, including specific considerations for LLMs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align ML infrastructure with business goals.

**AI Product Development**
- Work closely with product managers to conceptualize and develop AI-driven products.
- Lead the integration of advanced AI capabilities, including fine-tuned LLMs, into existing and new product lines.

**Research and Innovation**
- Stay at the forefront of AI research, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of LLMs and GenAI.
- Contribute to the company's thought leadership through publications and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and research labs to foster innovation in AI for agriculture.

**Cross-Functional Leadership**
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.
- Collaborate with other department heads to drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading complex AI projects from conception to production, including work with LLMs.
- Deep expertise in classical ML techniques, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling.
- Strong background in GenAI, including extensive experience with large language models and generative models.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for large-scale ML deployments, including LLM hosting and serving.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams of data scientists and engineers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
