We are hiring a **Geological Expert **for Chennai Underground Metro Project. Geological Expert shall have a degree in Civil Engineering and post graduate degree in geotechnical related engineering and have 15 years of experience. The experience shall include at least three large scale projects similar to the Works under this Contract.

He/She will be responsible to conduct Geotechnical investigation, Review of SI Factual reports, preparation of GIR and Geological profile, design of rock support system for slope excavation and tunnels and Instrumentation & monitoring Work.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Preparation of plan of Geotechnical Investigation, tests and specifications.
- Monitoring of soil investigation, review of BH data and lab tests.
- Review of Soil investigation factual report
- Preparation of GIR and geological profile
- Design of rock supporting system for Tunnel works
- Design rock supporting system for rock slope excavations
- Technical advice to site for installation rock supporting system as per the actual geological condition
- Geological mapping of tunnel face and slope excavations
- Review and optimization of rock supporting system proposed by design consultants
- Design and monitoring of grouting works
- Review of I&M data
- Maintaining actual geological condition data
- 15+ Years of experience in underground Metro project
- B.E/B.Tech Civil + M.E/M.Tech Geotechnical Engineering

**Salary**: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
