Music Teacher

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Teach students how to read music, understand musical theory, and perform vocally or with instruments.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, examinations, and competitions.
- Foster an appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and cultures.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and report on students' progress regularly.
- Organize and lead school concerts, assemblies, and extracurricular musical activities.
- Maintain and care for musical instruments and classroom equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, music technology, and trends in music education.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification/licensure.
- Proven experience as a music teacher or music educator.
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and/or vocal training.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and pedagogy.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
