- Experience of 8-10 years/ BE or BTech in CS / CE or IT / Certification in cloud architecture with any one cloud platform requirement preferably Microsoft Azure

**Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)**

The Cloud SME role is to design Cloud architecture, implement and support Cloud in line with Organization Information and Security guidelines. This role performs the architectural, support activities to ensure corporate level architecture and security standards are followed, and conducts research and provides recommendations to establish standards, tools, and methods for cloud.

- Coordinate & work closely with the internal/External stake-holders to achieve desired targets in Time.

Role Specific Skills/Capabilities Required:

- Develop cloud reference architectures
- Implement and maintain corporate cloud standards for tooling, cloud services, cloud designs, and implementation patterns
- Support the onboarding function to ensure app teams are adhering to standards and getting the needed support to make the right decisions in their move to cloud
- Document cloud solution architecture(s), including technical designs and diagrams
- Supports design, implement and support dynamically scalable and highly available services on cloud
- Partner with the DCM Shriram Corporate/IT team to support setting up data platform on cloud and closely work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists on their requirements and debugging existing issues on cloud
- Support CBO efforts by informing training paths and resource needs, providing information to the communications team, and supporting finance efforts to manage cloud costs for cloud services and tools
- Work closely with Cloud Security Architects to implement corporate Information Security Policies in an optimized fashion
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the cloud capabilities of the existing IT team, including providing extensive and mandatory upskilling programs to close the skills gap and save costs compared to hiring new employees
- **Managing Cloud Subscriptions **:Administrators oversee Cloud subscriptions, including provisioning and managing subscription resources, monitoring & optimizing usage, and enforcing governance policies to ensure compliance and cost control.
- **Cloud Resource Management**:Perform tasked with provisioning, configuring, and managing Cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components. This includes creating resource groups, configuring access controls, and optimizing resource utilization.
- **Cloud Monitoring and Optimization**: Monitor the performance and health of Cloud services and resources, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. They also optimize resource configurations and usage to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.
- **Cloud Security Management**:Responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect Cloud environments. This includes configuring identity and access management, implementing network security controls, encrypting data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Backup and Disaster Recovery**:Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure business continuity during system failures, data loss, or disasters. This involves configuring backup policies, setting up recovery services, and testing disaster recovery plans regularly.
- **Automation and Scripting **:Leverage tools and programming languages such as PowerShell and Azure CLI to automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and enforce governance policies. Automation enables them to scale operations efficiently and maintain consistency across Cloud environments.
- **Collaboration and Support**:Collaborate with other IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and support the adoption of Cloud services. Also facilitate communication and alignment between technical and business teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
