**Job Title**: Jewellery Quality Control (QC) Inspector
**Job Location**: Chennai
**Experience : 6- 10 Yrs**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct quality checks on raw gold, alloys, and finished gold jewelry.
- Verify gold purity using techniques like acid testing, XRF (X-ray fluorescence), and fire assay.
- Inspect gold jewelry for defects, including improper soldering, polishing, casting flaws, and weight inconsistencies.
- Ensure adherence to karat standards (e.g., 24K, 22K, 18K) and hallmarking regulations.
- Perform weight measurements to confirm compliance with design specifications.
- Identify and document quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities.
- Work closely with designers and production teams to resolve defects and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain QC records and generate reports on inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) hallmarking and other industry regulations.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
