We are a leading manufacturer of some Electromagnetic switchgear products. The process involves

**Job Description** will include but will not be limited to

*Making sure the quality of Sheet metal and Plastic components produced is excellent

*Making sure components productivity is high, and down time is avoided.

*Making sure Assembly tools are well maintained and don’t face downtime

*For this, studying all dies, tools and moulds and preparing a preventive maintenance plan

*Preparing drawings for spares, comparison with actual parts, spares list and stock planning

*Trouble shooting, Repair, maintenance of Dies, Moulds, Tools

*Repair and maintain press tools,moulds, die repairs

*Routine servicing and regrinding of tools

*Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the press with mínimal downtime to aid production.

*Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management

*Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced

*Adopting newer tool/die/mould materials, designs and processes for faster more efficient and more accurate production

*Document and update die history and other work records
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Carry out engineering level changes to tools and modifications
- Test and confirm electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operation of tools before return to production
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship at all times
- Record all relevant data in relation to tooling and record on the Tool Room database
- Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives
- Ensure risk assessments are available, read and understood for each activity undertaken
- Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard

*Ensure all personal protective equipment is identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to management

*Undertake continuous training and development
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

*Setting ideal parameters for Presses and Machines

*Maintain all related documentation as per ISO 9001-2015 / IATF 16949 requirements

e.g. Tool History sheets, PM sheets, schedules, Breakdown history

*Preparing Standard Operating procedures and Work instructions etc,

*Participation in new product development (NPD)

*Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part.

NTTF - Diploma/ Engineering

2-3 years experience

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
