Engineer DevOps

**Job Description**:
Devops

Experience: 4-7 years

Location: Bengaluru

Np - 15days to Immediate

Role Summary & Essential responsibilities:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for performing CI/CD and automation design / validation activities under the project responsibility of the Technical Project Manager and under the technical responsibility of the software architect.
- Respect internal processes including coding rules.
- Write documentation in accordance with the implementation made
- Meet the Quality, Cost and Time objectives set by the Technical Project Manager.

Qualification / Requirement:

- Bachelor / Master?s in engineering in Computer Science with web option CS, IT or related field Abilities:

- 4 to 7 years of hands on experience as DevOps Engineer

Essential Characteristics:
Knowledge and Experience in computer development:

- Infrastructure automation tools and technologies
- Scripting language such as JS, Python, Bash
- Networking concepts like firewalls and load balancers
- Open source virtualization technologies like KVM, bhyve
- Hands-on with Jenkins and GitLab automation servers and its plugins
- Hands-on setting up CI/CD pipelines and configuring Virtual Machines
- Configuration Management & Deployment Tools like Ansible, Vagrant, Terraform.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Microservice based architecture
- Project management and workflow tools like Jira

Computer skills:
? Server infrastructure, VMware, Virtual Machine, VPN, Docker, Scripting languages

? OS: Linux

? Pp-to-date on the latest industry trends.

Process:

- SVN, GIT and Bitbucket source control/configuration management tool
- Development methodology: AGILE (SCRUM/Kanban)

Soft skills:

- English: good level
- Autonomous
- Good Interpersonal and communication skill
- Good synthesis skill
- Solid team player and able to handle multiple tasks and manage them time efficiently.
