Internal Auditor

**Job Purpose**:
To conduct independent audits of the chicken processing unit (RTC/RTE), ensuring operational efficiency, process compliance, quality control, and financial integrity. The role involves assessing risks and internal controls specific to food safety, production, cold chain management, and traceability across the RTC/RTE value chain.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Process & Operational Audits**
- Conduct audits of processing operations — raw material inflow, slaughtering, marination, cooking, chilling, packaging, and dispatch.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Validate compliance with SOPs in hygiene, sanitization, temperature logs, and shelf-life management.

**2. Inventory & Material Management**
- Audit inventory of raw materials, packaging material, and finished goods (including cold storage management).
- Check material yield, wastage, and variance reports across different production stages.
- Perform FIFO/LIFO compliance checks and verify reconciliation of physical vs system stock.

**3. Financial & Cost Control**
- Review costing accuracy (raw material, utilities, labor, wastage).
- Identify cost leakages or inefficiencies in procurement, utilities (water, electricity, steam), and manpower deployment.
- Validate vendor payments, invoice processing, and purchase orders specific to the plant.

**4. Compliance & Documentation**
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, ESI/PF, Factory Act, etc.).
- Verify licenses, calibration logs, and statutory records.
- Report non-compliances and follow up on timely corrective actions.

**5. Reporting & Coordination**
- Prepare and submit audit reports with clear observations and practical recommendations.
- Work closely with the Production, QA, Maintenance, and Stores departments for audit execution.
- Follow up on action plans from previous audits and report status to management.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Sound knowledge of food processing operations (preferably in poultry/meat industry)
- Understanding of food safety norms (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI, GMP)
- Good analytical and process review skills
- Strong documentation, reporting, and Excel/ERP skills
- High attention to detail and integrity

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
