**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Financial Controller to lead our financial operations with a strong emphasis on digital innovation, ethical stewardship, and operational excellence. This role combines deep financial expertise with technological proficiency and demands a commitment to integrity, trust, and strategic leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Oversight and Governance

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with Accounting Standards (AS) and IFRS.

Oversee month-end and year-end closures, statutory reporting, and external audits.

Develop and maintain robust internal controls to protect the integrity of financial data.

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions, including business case evaluations and resource optimization.

Ensure financial systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

2. Digital Agility and AI Integration

Leverage AI-powered tools to automate and enhance processes (e.g., AP/AR, forecasting, reconciliation).

Collaborate with data scientists and IT to refine predictive models and reporting frameworks.

Develop real-time dashboards integrating financial and operational data for business-wide insights.

Ensure transparent and effective communication of AI-driven insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Continuously assess and adopt new technologies, maintaining a critical and ethical perspective.

3. Ethical Stewardship and Data Security

Enforce best practices in data security, access control, and financial system integrity.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential risks or compliance gaps.

Uphold the companys code of conduct, including conflict-of-interest disclosures and regulatory compliance.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on ethical and financial decision-making.

Technical Expertise

B.Com, with a minimum of 2-4 + years experience in accounting or finance roles.

Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with AI tools and advanced analytics used in finance.

Desirable: Exposure to Power BI, Python, or SQL for analysis and reporting.
