**Responsibilities & Key Deliverables**

**Telematics System Development**: Lead the design and development of telematics solutions tailored specifically for commercial vehicles, focusing on enabling real-time vehicle tracking, remote diagnostics, and fleet management capabilities.

**Integration**: Oversee the integration of telematics devices and systems with commercial vehicle architecture, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

**Fleet Management Solutions**: Develop telematics features that enhance fleet management operations, such as vehicle utilization tracking, fuel consumption monitoring, and driver behavior analysis.

**Data Exchange**: Facilitate seamless communication between vehicles and external systems for real-time data sharing, route optimization, and operational efficiency.

**Scalability**: Ensure telematics solutions are scalable to meet the varying needs of commercial vehicle operators, from small fleets to large-scale operations.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with the System Development and Connected Cockpit teams to ensure telematics systems are integrated effectively with other cockpit functionalities like navigation and infotainment.

**Compliance**: Ensure telematics solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to commercial vehicles.

**Vendor Coordination**: Collaborate with external vendors and technology providers to source and customize telematics hardware and software solutions.

**Customer Focus**: Understand the unique requirements of commercial vehicle operators and adapt telematics solutions to address their specific needs, including uptime maximization and operational cost reduction.

**Experience**
- 10+ years

**Industry Preferred**

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

**General Requirements**
Expertise in vehicle tracking, remote diagnostics, and fleet management technologies.
Strong knowledge of telematics hardware and software integration with vehicle systems.
Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
Experience in working with telematics vendors and customizing solutions for specific requirements

**Leadership**: Ability to lead and mentor teams working on telematics projects.

**Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges and optimize solutions.

**Customer-Centricity**: Understanding customer needs and delivering tailored telematics solutions.

**Collaboration**: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work across departments and with external vendors
