**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities Content Development & Editorial Duties**
- Conceptualize, plan, and produce high-quality content including articles, interviews, and videos in line with the publication’s editorial strategy.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to align video and written content with brand objectives.
- Scriptwriting, sub-editing, and ensuring timely delivery of stories.
- Co-create show concepts and develop compelling scripts tailored to our target audience.
- Manage multiple content series simultaneously while maintaining editorial standards and creative quality.
- Guide post-production to ensure storytelling and quality benchmarks are met for increased viewer engagement.

**News Writing & Reporting**
- Handle daily news reporting, article writing, and feature creation for both print and digital platforms across all company publications:

- _The STAT Trade Times_
- _Indian Transport & Logistics News_
- _Logistics Update Africa_
- Curate and produce audio-visual content for social media and the STAT Media Group YouTube channel.
- Stay updated with industry trends to generate timely and relevant stories.

**Production Management**
- Oversee the video production lifecycle—pre-production, shooting, editing, and final delivery.
- Ensure all technical aspects meet industry standards for professional quality and consistency.

**Audience Engagement**
- Optimize content for various platforms including websites, social media, and partner channels.
- Track content performance and implement feedback to enhance engagement and reach.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager or editorial leadership.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in editorial roles, preferably within a news or media organization.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats (print, video, digital).
- Proficiency in video production tools and post-production workflows.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with content performance tools and social media analytics is a plus.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,109.42 per month
