- VMware VCP, Dell EMC / HPE Storage Certifications (desirable)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Server and Storage Expert with strong expertise in managing, configuring, and maintaining data center infrastructure, including both Windows and Linux-based servers, as well as enterprise-level storage systems. The role demands hands-on experience and the ability to operate in a government-controlled secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and monitor Data Centre infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage arrays (SAN/NAS), and backups.
- Plan and implement system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity across all servers and storage devices.
- Work with virtual environments - VMware, Hyper-V, or other platforms.
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols and government IT policies.
- Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and service degradation affecting server/storage systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise server and storage infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration.
- Experience with RAID configurations, SAN/NAS storage solutions (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, etc.).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and server roles/services.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery planning using tools like Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.
- Performance monitoring and capacity planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Employment Type:
