Role/ Position - Web Tester

Job Location - Chandigarh

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Understand testing objectives for each project and create detailed test plans accordingly
- Analyse requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs throughout the software development life cycle
- Perform regression, functional, usability, load/stress, and security testing when needed
- Communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve defects in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with new trends and best practices in website testing and quality assurance
- Assist in the creation of test data when needed
- Help troubleshoot issues reported by users during beta testing or live deployment
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early on
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
- Keep abreast of latest technology developments and tools

Experience - **6** years plus

**Qualification & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 6+ years professional experience in website testing, quality assurance, or software development
- Solid understanding of the software development process and various testing methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, WebDriver, or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA or Quality Center

Working hour - **2*pm to **11*pm (Monday to Friday)
