Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: - 18+ years of experience in the embedded domain to design, develop and support software solutions - Hands-on experience in multi-core ARM/CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators for Automotive systems - Experience in any of Linux/QNX/Android/Integrity platforms - Hands-on experience in Platform SW (BSP) such as low-level firmware, kernel and user-space components, IPC mechanisms, boot flow etc. - Strong C/C++ programming skills, embedded system programming and good knowledge on system concepts like DMA, Interrupts, Cache etc. - Virtualization and Hypervisor technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators Minimum Qualifications: Qualcomm is building on its core strengths in wireless and compute technologies and is in the middle of the biggest technology revolution in the Automotive space. Qualcomm has pioneered connected car technologies for over a decade, and it is now playing a critical role in the evolution of Automotive Infotainment, ADAS/Autonomous Driving, Telematics, and its supporting technologies. We are investing in several innovative technologies such Computer Vision, AI/Deep Learning, 5G, Cellular V2X etc. and are working closely with global Automakers/Tier-1s, standards bodies, consortiums, and operators on pushing the boundaries. Qualcomm Automotive SW Team in Bangalore is looking for SW Architects and Senior Technical Lead who can make difference in many technology forefronts in Automotive space and join our growing multisite engineering organization. - Leading multiple team's architects, technical leads, and engineers in defining next generation SW architecture and to derive optimal solutions to existing SW solutions - Define, prototype, implement and productize Automotive use cases and analyzing customer use cases (RFI) based on Qualcomm SW and HW capabilities - Defining Strategic Roadmap and delivering to the vision of best-in-class service capabilities of Qualcomm's Automotive Engineering teams - Active management of stakeholder alignment of architecture, capabilities, product roadmap and delivery plans - Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineers/partners/customers across different geographies - Demonstrated experience working with senior management and stakeholders in influencing technical and strategic decisions - Hands-on technical lead who is not hesitant to dig into the details where needed to get first-hand knowledge of the issues and play an active and personal role in steering team success accommodationsupport-here for assistance.
