Daily round in all wards to oversee nursing services
Preparing monthly duty schedule of nursing staff
Assigning duties of nursing staffs based on qualification of staff and acuity levels of patients
Managing leaves & Overtime of nursing staffs
Preparing JDs of nursing staffs and skill sets
Skill set mapping of all nursing staffs every quarter
Preparing list of training modules and making training material available, improving training material
Conducting regular training programs and evaluating training.
Making sure that patient’s medical records are complete shift by shift (nursing initial assessment and care plan, TPR BP charts, input / output charts, BSL chart, various scores for all patients, re-assessment and revising nursing care plan.
Conducting nursing audits as planned regularly
Participation of nursing staffs in clinical audits
Making nursing staff available for planned training programs
Ensuring that all registers are maintained up to date by nursing staffs
Preparing nursing procedure manual. Training staffs on all nursing procedures.
Arranging Training of nursing staffs from ICU and emergency in BLS and ACLS
Make sure nursing staff follows triaging where appropriate
Ensuring that ambulance medicines and equipment are maintained and checked every day by emergency nursing staff
Ensuring that blood transfusion is done safely across the hospital by nursing staff
Maintain nursing staff levels as per the nurse-to-patient ratios defined.
Make sure that nursing staff undergoes training on pediatric patients as per the scope of services of the hospital.
Make sure that stocks of medications stored in wards and crash carts are checked on weekly basis and medication on daily basis that the records of stock taking are maintained properly.
Make sure all refrigerators have temperature indicator and records of temperature are maintained by the ward nurses.
Verify on daily round that the medication orders are strictly followed in all care areas. Medication administration records are properly and correctly maintained.
Interviewing nurses and recruiting nursing staffs
Evaluate confidential reports and recommends staff for promotion.
Enforces implementation of hospital policies.
Investigates complaints and takes necessary steps. Maintains discipline among nursing staff
Implementation of Policies and Procedures of the hospital.
Quality indicators related to nursing are monitored and data mapped. These are calculated and reported to quality
Participate in patient safety program
Participation in quality improvement program
Appropriate quality improvement tools are used
Participation in clinical audits
Participation in committees appropriately

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
