Job Title: Agile Coach / Scrum Master
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Implementation: Coach and guide teams to implement and follow SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) correctly and effectively.
Agile Ceremonies: Embed and facilitate best practices including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and demos across product teams.
Backlog Grooming: Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs aligned with project timelines.
DevOps & Lean Practices: Ensure adoption of DevOps principles and Lean methodology across development teams; break down development silos.
Delivery Focus: Drive team outcomes through well-defined user stories, epics, and releases ensuring value delivery.
Impediment Removal: Enable developers by proactively identifying and eliminating roadblocks.
Project Cadence: Maintain alignment and communication across agile stakeholders, ensuring coherence in epics and product deliverables.
Team Onboarding: Support integration of new teams into Agile workflows and align them with product vision.
Additional Duties:
Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of projects within defined scope, timeline, and quality.
Meeting Facilitation: Lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Coaching & Mentorship: Mentor team members on Agile/Scrum principles and support continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact for stakeholders and communicate project status, risks, and updates.
Team Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
Impediment Removal: Enable developers by proactively identifying and eliminating roadblocks.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, and Agile principles
Excellent coaching and leadership skills
Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
Strong conflict resolution and facilitation abilities
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Effective stakeholder management and communication
Work Location: In person
