**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Program and set up CNC sliding head machines.
- Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings.
- Select the correct tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve machining/programming issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet delivery and quality goals.
- Maintain regular machine maintenance and uphold safety best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience (sliding head preferred).
- Strong experience in G-code programming and CNC tool path optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of tool selection, machine setup, and part inspection.
- Proven ability to work independently and produce precision components to tight tolerances.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Experience in a high-paced production environment is a strong advantage.
