**Job Title**: QC Microbiologist

**Job Summary**:
The QC Microbiologist is responsible for performing microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role ensures sterility and microbiological safety of products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine microbiological testing (bioburden, endotoxin, sterility, microbial limit tests).
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) of controlled areas (air, surface, personnel).
- Water sampling and microbiological analysis (TVC, coliforms, endotoxin, etc.).
- Maintain and monitor microbiological lab equipment (e.g., autoclaves, incubators, LAF).
- Perform microbial identification using standard techniques.
- Review and document lab results accurately in compliance with GMP.
- Prepare and maintain culture media, reagents, and microbial cultures.
- Conduct hygiene monitoring of personnel and manufacturing area.
- Participate in validation activities like media fill and method validation.
- Investigate and report microbiological deviations and OOS results.
- Support in audits (internal and external) and regulatory inspections.
- Maintain GLP practices and ensure proper documentation in logbooks and test reports.

**Qualifications**:

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in QC microbiology in the pharmaceutical/biotech/food industry.
- Sound knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USP, EP, IP).
- Proficient in microbiological techniques and aseptic practices.
