CNC Turner

We are looking for a CNC machine operator/turner that is committed and skilled to join our team. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in precision turning for close tolerance components and sub-assemblies and have practical expertise with CNC machines outfitted with Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc, Spinner, DMG,.

Principal Duties

Utilize Siemens and Heidenhain controllers or other designated heavy machinery to operate CNC machines (Turning).

To achieve tight tolerances, precisely turn parts and subassemblies.

Analyze engineering drawings and configure machines with the proper cutting tools and settings.

Keep thorough data sheets for cycle time analysis, and suggest enhancements to cut down on cycle time.

To increase productivity, identify and put into practice Kaizen activities.

Compile Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) charts, SOPs, and in-process inspection reports.

Verify compliance to quality systems, such as OHSE and AS9100 guidelines.

Keep your workspace tidy and safe while adhering to TPM's housekeeping guidelines.

Protect the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of all data and procedures handled.

Essential Requirements

Five years of relevant experience as an SSC.

Turner with two years of relevant experience and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from ITI.

Four years of relevant experience is required for ITI-Turner without NAC.

Preferred Qualities & Skills
