The **Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Bakery** is responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency, taste, and appearance. They support the Chef de Partie in supervising junior staff, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring smooth operations in the bakery section.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods as per the menu and standard recipes.
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs and trainees in bakery tasks.
- Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation of bakery items.
- Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory management, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure that all ingredients and raw materials are stored correctly and used efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section, following food safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and sheeters.
- Assist in developing new bakery products and improving existing recipes in coordination with the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure adherence to kitchen SOPs and quality standards.
- Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by senior chefs.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years in a bakery or pastry kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- **Education**: Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Creativity in bakery item presentation and recipe development.
- Familiarity with bakery equipment and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- **Work Conditions**: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Expertise in artisanal bread making, laminated dough, cake decoration, or chocolate work.
- Experience in a high-volume bakery or hotel pastry kitchen.
- Knowledge of international bakery trends and techniques.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
