**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Resident Management**:

- Supervise the daily activities of all hostel residents, ensuring adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to students on academic, personal, and social matters.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the hostel, encouraging mutual respect among residents.
- Address grievances and resolve conflicts among residents in a fair and timely manner.
- **Security and Safety**:

- Ensure the safety and security of all residents by monitoring access to the hostel premises and maintaining a visitor log.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and the hostel’s infrastructure to ensure safety standards are met.
- Implement emergency protocols, such as fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain and update the list of emergency contacts and medical details of residents.
- **Disciplinary Oversight**:

- Maintain discipline within the hostel by enforcing policies regarding curfew times, conduct, cleanliness, noise levels, etc.
- Take appropriate action in case of rule violations, issuing warnings or involving higher authorities if needed.
- Organize and monitor the hostel’s routine activities, ensuring a balance between studies, leisure, and other responsibilities.
- **Administration and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain up-to-date records of hostel residents, including personal information, room allocation, fees, and other relevant details.
- Manage daily attendance and monitor the departure and return times of residents.
- Maintain a hostel inventory, ensuring that furniture, appliances, and other facilities are in good condition.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff for regular cleaning and maintenance of the hostel.
- **Health and Welfare**:

- Ensure that the hostel provides a clean and hygienic environment for residents.
- Address health concerns of residents and take necessary actions, including arranging for medical assistance when needed.
- Keep track of the medical emergencies and health issues of residents, and maintain confidentiality.
- Organize wellness programs or workshops related to mental and physical well-being.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between hostel residents and management.
- Communicate any important information, announcements, or events to the residents.
- Coordinate with other hostel staff, such as housekeeping, security, and administrative personnel, to ensure seamless operations.
- Arrange meetings with residents, if necessary, to discuss any issues or changes in hostel regulations.
- **Event Management**:

- Organize hostel-based activities, such as social events, celebrations, and cultural programs to build a sense of community and belonging among residents.
- Encourage residents to participate in extracurricular activities that promote personal growth and development.
- **Financial and Fee Management**:

- Assist in the collection of hostel fees and manage the hostel’s budget.
- Keep track of all expenditures related to the hostel and report to the administration.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Hospitality Management, Social Work, or a related field).
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a similar role (hostel management, student welfare, or residential supervision) is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues effectively.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position may require occasional evening and weekend hours to address resident needs or emergencies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
