About This Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative research group and undertake central coordination support tasks for clinical research related to kidney disease. As an Australasian Kidney Trials Network (AKTN) Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) you will support the clinical project team in daily study activities and clinical trial conduct by providing administrative and project tracking support. Key responsibilities will include:
- Establish and maintain tracking tools for assigned trials.- Order, assemble, and coordinate shipping of study materials to sites.- Assist in the creation of study materials, including but not limited to documents, presentations, and reports.- Conduct initial review and tracking of invoices & study payments.- Prepare, distribute, track and file clinical trial documents.- Review and assist in the collection and maintenance of Trial Master File essential documents in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the protocol and appropriate regulations.- Support Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and Clinical Project Manager (CPM) to track study metrics.- Support the research team in obtaining regulatory and ethical approvals for data collection activities, including approvals for health-related data linkage.- Support the CRA and CPM in facilitating stakeholder meetings.- Participate in team meetings and assist in preparation of agendas, minutes, and tracking of action items.- Act as a central contact for designated project communications, correspondence, and associated documentation.- Assist CRAs in preparation for clinical trial site monitoring visits.- Facilitate shipments and track central storage of human biological samples.- Maintain and regularly update trial website information as requested by the CRA and CPM.- Perform administrative tasks to support the Clinical Operations Team as needed.- Any other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.

Code of Conduct


About You- Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience in business administration, science, health, or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.- General knowledge of applicable clinical research principles and requirements, including GCP and ICH guidelines.- Advanced knowledge of clinical study processes.- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.- Ability to multitask with significant attention to detail.-
- Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines.- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software (Desirable)

What We Can Offer

There are two full time (100%) fixed-term positions available for up to 12 months at HEW 6.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $82,399.95 to $88,503.79 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,407.94 to $103,549.43 per annum.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
