**Job Description Summary**: The Electrical System Engineering Intern will work with a team of system engineers / Controls & Protection / Validation & Verification / Valves within the HVDC unit of GE Vernova to ensure that the business can deliver and change to meet the demands of the grid and renewable energy market. As leaders in the energy space our goal is to accelerate the transition for a more energy efficient grid to fulfil the needs of tomorrow. Our projects are unique and interesting, and you’ll need to bring a solution-focused, positive approach to each one to do your best to collaborate with world renowned experts on game-changing technologies.
Role overview
Responsibilities not limited to below:
Main electrical circuit design, Electrical insulation coordination studies, Equipment, lifecycle management, Reliability, availability and maintainability studies, Electrical losses management, Filter design, Solution development and industrialization, Control & Protection Dynamic studies, C&P Strategies, Control automations, Testing / validation/ verification of control systems, Power Electronics, Hardware etc.
The Person:
Needs to be eligible to work in India. No Visa support will be provided.
