**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute **test plans, test cases, and test scripts** for firmware validation.
- Perform **functional, integration, regression, and system testing** for embedded firmware.
- Utilize **debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers** to troubleshoot firmware-related issues.
- Work closely with **firmware developers, hardware engineers, and quality teams** to ensure high-quality firmware releases.
- Conduct **automated and manual testing** to validate firmware functionality.
- Analyze and document test results, report bugs, and verify fixes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for firmware validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes and improve firmware quality.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Educational Qualification**: B.Tech in **Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)** or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum **1.5 years** of experience in **firmware testing** (excluding internships).
- Strong knowledge of **embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development**.
- Hands-on experience with **testing tools such as JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.**:
- Understanding of **communication protocols** (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, etc.).
- Familiarity with **firmware programming languages** (C, C++, Python for automation).
- Experience in **test automation for embedded systems** is a plus.
- Proficiency in **bug tracking tools** (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
**Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)**:
- Experience in **hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing**.
- Exposure to **real-time operating systems (RTOS)**.
- Knowledge of **IoT devices and wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, etc.)**.
- Experience in **test automation frameworks for embedded systems**.
