**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Primary Accountabilities***:

- **As a tech savvy engineer, you will influence how we build individual features and products, incorporating best practices and patterns that can be applied to engineering lifecycle for living room devices**:

- **Given your expertise, you will take ownership of our continued efforts to scale TV app development across different platforms, providing valuable insights on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code**:

- **Drive impactful feature development for our well-renowned apps for Roku and Smart TV apps while also overseeing end-to-end product quality; from developing and maintaining core frameworks that make these apps more reliable and delightful**

**Secondary Accountabilities***:

- **Create prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies on the forefront of smart TV technology**

**KPI's**:

- **Write stable code to bring the crash free rate to 99.98%**:

- **Write testable code that need to have 97%-unit test case coverage**:

- **Stable release more often while enhancing turnaround time on hotfixes**:

- **Improve vitals and overall performance of the app**:

- **Boost developer onboarding and launch time**

**Eligibility**
- **Expert in building UI components & custom controllers using Brightscript**:

- **Influential entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently**:
**Academic Records**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related discipline preferred**

**Aptitude and Skills**:

- **Good working experience in Web Service Integration (REST, JSON, XML)**:

- **Agile in using analytics, location and social APIs, payment gateway, media content transcoding and cloud integration, APM tools
