**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surface Preparation**: Clean, sand, and prepare metal or other surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and other contaminants.
- **Color Matching**: Mix paints and finishes according to required specifications to ensure consistent color, texture, and quality.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect surfaces for any defects or imperfections before and after painting to meet product quality standards.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Maintain painting equipment and booths, ensuring they are clean, functional, and properly calibrated.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles to minimize risks from fumes and chemicals.
- **Documentation**: Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team, engineers, and quality control staff to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial painter, preferably in the lighting or similar manufacturing industries.
- **Safety Awareness**: Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in powder coating processes.
- Knowledge of working with metal substrates, Fiber and Plastic material specific to lighting products.
