Job Purpose:
The Incumbent of this position will be part of the Digital & IT team, assisting the Enterprises Business Application team as an SAP PP/QM consultant. The incumbent will lead or assist in the design, development, monitoring, and introduction of projects for existing and new implementation.

Position Overview:
Location: Chennai

Position Title: SAP - PP / QM

Reports to: Group Manager - Digital & IT

Function: Information Technology

What you’ll do:
Experience in Implementation and Support Projects with In-depth knowledge in the following areas:

- Master Data - Material Master, Bill of materials, Work centers, Routings, Production versions, Inspection Plan, Master inspection, Characteristics, Catalogs, and Code groups.
- Demand Management - Configuration and Integration with, Procurement, Sales, and Distribution.
- Working knowledge of Material Requirement Planning,
- Having enough expertise in Planned Order Processing.
- Production Order Processing in Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing Environment (REM). Quality Management - Quality in Procurement, Quality in Production, In-process inspection, QM Notifications, Calibration and Quality in Sales, QM Notification processing.
- Should have hands-on experience in proposing, building, and implementing custom solutions in Fiori and S4 Systems.
- Should have hands-on experience in writing functional specifications, and coordination with the ABAP team individually.
- Cross Functional knowledge in other logistics modules Finance & Controlling, Sales & Distribution, and Procurement processes is required.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including functional specifications, test plans, and training materials.
- Collaborate with the business teams to ensure the solutions meet the business requirements

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP PP/ QM and well-versed in S4 HANA/ ECC with good analytical skills along with domain experience in manufacturing industry

Qualification: BE / MBA (System / IT)

- Incident and query management
