A **PRT Library Teacher** plays a crucial role in developing reading habits and fostering a love for books among young learners.

**1. Library Management & Organization**

Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and accessible library for primary students.
Ensure proper book issuance, returns, and record-keeping.

**2. Promoting Reading Habits**

Encourage students to develop a habit of reading from an early age.
Conduct storytelling sessions, read-aloud activities, and book discussions.
Recommend age-appropriate books and guide students in selecting books.

**3. Library Lessons & Literacy Development**

Conduct engaging library periods for primary students.
Teach basic library skills like book handling, alphabetical arrangement, and using a library index.
Introduce students to different genres, authors, and literary works.

**4. Digital & Technological Integration**

Introduce students to e-books, audiobooks, and digital storytelling.
Teach basic research skills using online resources and library databases.
Encourage the use of educational apps for reading and comprehension.

**5. Organizing Events & Activities**

Plan and conduct literary activities like Book Fairs, Reading Challenges, and Library Week.
Organize author visits, storytelling competitions, and poetry recitations.
Arrange interactive sessions on famous literary works and authors.

**6. Collaboration with Teachers & Curriculum Support**

Support project-based learning by providing research materials.
Align library activities with classroom learning and the CBSE curriculum.

**7. Discipline & Library Etiquette**

Teach students about respecting books and maintaining silence in the library.
Establish rules for book borrowing, damage prevention, and timely returns.

**8. Record-Keeping & Reporting**

Maintain records of book inventory, damaged/lost books, and student borrowing history.
Prepare reports on library usage and reading progress.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
