Job Title: Medical Officer (Obstetrics & Gynecology)Department: Obstetrics and GynecologyReports To: Chief Medical Officer / Department HeadJob Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of ANC and pregnant patients to monitor health conditions and identify any potential risks.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for pregnant patients, including regular monitoring, nutritional advice, and prenatal exercises.
- Provide counseling and education to pregnant patients and their families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal care, and family planning.
- Manage and treat pregnancy-related complications and coordinate with specialists when advanced care is needed.
- Perform routine prenatal screenings and tests, including ultrasound scans, blood tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and management.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology to provide evidence-based care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical school.
- Valid medical license and registration with the relevant medical council.
- Completion of a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing ANC and pregnant patients.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in performing obstetric ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Work Environment:

- Hospital or healthcare facility with standard medical equipment and resources.
- May require flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet patient care needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
