The **Environmental Officer**is responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental policies, programs, and practices to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability within the organization. This role involves monitoring environmental performance, conducting assessments, and recommending improvements to reduce environmental impact.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure the organization adheres to local & national environmental laws and regulations.
- Obtain and manage environmental permits, licenses, and certifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on environmental performance and submit to regulatory bodies when required.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure environmental standards are met.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and environmental organizations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
- **Experience**:

- At least 2-5 years of experience in environmental management, compliance, or sustainability roles.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in environmental management systems (EMS) such as ISO 14001.
- Ability to use environmental monitoring tools and software.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Organizational and project management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
