We are looking to bring on board a passionate Human Resources professional to help us in our journey. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for turning the business strategy for our Finance and Actuarial functions into an actionable talent strategy and proactive recruiting plan to address critical talent gaps, helping the organization assess and select talent for both today’s and tomorrow’s business needs and ultimately creating competitive advantage in the business and talent marketplace.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Understand the business and talent strategy, consult with business and HR professionals on talent gaps and create and execute an effective and efficient sourcing strategy that delivers the best, most diverse talent to AXA XL.
- Network with industry professionals, with a specific emphasis on developing relationships with top tier, diverse talent.
- Create a diversity sourcing strategy for the Finance & Actuarial functions, this includes building strong external partnerships with diverse associations.
- Provide global sourcing support across business groups, functions and geographies. Partner with recruiters and other HR professionals to develop robust sourcing strategies and build talent pools for critical roles.
- Partner with other HR partners, as appropriate, to ensure that AXA XL is able to attract the necessary talent for today and tomorrow. This includes Total Rewards, relocation, Employment Law and Talent Management.
- Select and manage external search firm vendors, as needed. This includes identifying the “best” vendor, fee agreements and managing the firm throughout the entire recruiting process.
- Positively represent and differentiate the AXA XL employment brand in the talent marketplace.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience recruiting for global companies and putting together comprehensive recruiting strategies to address diverse talent needs.
- Experience in Finance/Finance Operations & Analytics recruiting, demonstrates ability to create sourcing and recruiting strategies that bring in multiple hires quickly.
- Preferred experience in financial services.
- 4-6 years, relevant and recent recruiting experience in either a search firm, agency or corporation. Experience in both a corporate environment and a search firm preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit diverse individuals and ability to negotiate and consult on total compensation packages (base, bonus).
- Ability to work independently with a strong bias for action; able to deliver results and manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability to translate a business strategy into an actionable recruiting strategy.
- A global talent perspective and experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to effectively work with and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization from front-line managers to senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail.
- Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills and a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments and processes.
- Strong business acumen with a thirst for business knowledge.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and make decisions in a business context.
- Ability to develop a “big picture” perspective and be a strategic thinker.
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
