**Job Summary**:The Petty Cash Accountant will manage the company’s petty cash fund, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely disbursement, and reconciliation of funds. The role requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adherence to company policies and procedures.**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Petty Cash Management**:

- Maintain and oversee petty cash fund in compliance with company policies.
- Disburse cash for approved expenses and obtain proper authorization.
- Ensure adequate cash levels are maintained at all times.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Record all petty cash transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Ensure receipts and vouchers are correctly documented for each transaction.
- **Reconciliation**:

- Perform regular reconciliation of the petty cash balance with financial records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare detailed petty cash reports for management on a periodic basis.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits as needed.
- **Support**:

- Assist the finance team with other accounting tasks as required.
- Coordinate with other departments for expense approvals and reimbursements.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- **4 -5 years of experience in accounting or cash management.**:

- Prior experience in petty cash handling is preferred.
- Skills:

- **Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, MS Excel**:

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good Knowledge of Tax.
- Strong in Advance Excel.

**Reporting To : Accounts Head**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
