**SSIS, Database development, data migration roles and responsibility**:
Atlas needs a strong database developer to support one of our banking clients to help with load, transform the data from the bank source systems in MS Access, SQL Server and Oracle to the Target system in SQL Server 2019 version..
- This position requires thorough understanding of the production database environment to read the data without causing performance penalty to the existing source systems. Every month end, the required data is automated from back end to back end system.
- Legacy MS Access based reports and often broken when underlying DB schema is changed.
- The MS Access based reports will be migrated to data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or QlikView or Tableau, experience in migration required
- The database developer consultant work with Database engineering team members to deliver the services.
- This role needs a consultant with combination of strong database development, knowledge of DBA skills and strong ETL - SSIS packages development skills.
- Must have reporting tools experience with Microsoft Power BI or QlikView or Tableau or SSRS.
- Having DBA skills is nice to have

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL/TSQL developing TSQL, stored procs, views, triggers, and functions
- 3 years of experience developing ETL packages using SSIS, SSRS, and/or SSAS
- 1 to 3 years of programming experience in one of the leading languages such as C#, Java,.Netetc.
- Experience supporting SQL/server environment: SQL tunning, optimization, partitioning, datafiles, drives and space configuration
- Assists in collecting new requirements for development to meet customer’s needs.
- Provides suggestions as appropriate on situations requiring changes in resources, impacts on established policies, broad program goals, or projected timetables.
- Writes and maintains program documentation.
- Technical documentation of the work including all scripts and commands applicable in a standard word format.
- Provide status of the accomplishment on a daily or weekly basis.
- Implement changes to the production environment as per the Buyer’s standard change management guidelines established via ServiceNow (AKA: SNOW) tool for Incident Tickets, Service Requests and Change Requests.
- Work independently on all complex projects and within a collaborative team driven environment such as infrastructure groups and other Suppliers.
- Understand current support processes, definition of the to-be processes and gap analysis.
- Provide monthly reports of tasks completed during the month via Jira or Service Now along with the time spent.
- Implement security controls to prevent data loss/leakage or unauthorized access to databases.
